The architectural style of the building can be described as Modern Classic Style. The Modern Classic design evolved as a modern version of the historical Cape Dutch style.
The distinctive elements of this style are prominent; charcoal-coloured pitched roofs, flat profile concrete/fibre cement, light-coloured plain gabled walls. Traditional vertical proportions are used for doors, windows and other building elements.
